True to its name, Camp Room-on-the-Roof (ROR) is set atop a series of step farms overlooking the Viraatkhai valley, 25 kms from Chakrata. Standing in splendid isolation at an altitude of 1900 m, the camp offers breathtaking views of snow-capped Himalayan peak on a clear day and hold special promise for genuine nature lovers. Far from the bustle of urban life, all you are likely to hear are sweet bird songs and the rush of mountain winds sweeping across the valley.

A 45 minute drive from the camp brings one to the upper stretches of the Yamuna, the favoured river for the true whitewater rafting enthusiast!! Each rapid in this section of the river comes hard on the heels of the previous one, creating a fast and furious rafting experience unmatched by anything the Ganges has to offer. In addition to rafting and white-water sport, there is a vast range of other adventure activities like rock climbing, rappelling, bridge slithering, hiking over little explored mountain trails, ensures that your stay at the camp is a truly memorable one.
