Camp High 5, GIO's premier riverside camp stands on the banks of the River Alaknanda at Jayalgarh (Uttarakhand). Far from the bustle of popular touristy destinations yet conveniently close to a rail head and airport, Camp High 5 is ideally located for the urbanite who loves the natural experience. In addition to the easy connectivity, this camp is the perfect setting for someone looking for a relaxing holiday in the spectacular setting or for the activity junkie who is looking for an activity-filled day followed by relaxed evenings by the riverside under the star-spangled sky. Many an hour can be spent with a book by the riverside coupled with short nature walks along the riverside or into the forests that surround the camp.
For those looking for some adventure in their trip, there is a wide variety of activities that include some exciting river rafting on the Alaknanda (Class I to III+), rock climbing, rappelling, trekking, valley crossing, bridge slithering, cliff jumping, kayaking, and many more.
As the evening sets in, the mood in the camp changes to one of relaxation and light banter. There is a crackling bonfire and light music to set the mood and this is followed by endless tales of one's exploits on the trip and also by a lot of local stories from our ever enthusiastic staff.
Day 1: Arrive at the camp by 0800 hrs. After breakfast, RAFT from the Camp to Deoprayag (22 kms/3 hrs) through exciting Class II and III rapids. Return to the camp at the end of the rafting stretch for a late lunch. Post lunch relax in the camp and towards evening, head out for a session of RAPPELLING under the watchful eyes of our instructors. At night enjoy bonfire and dinner by the riverside.
Day 2: Post breakfast; depart from the camp to your onward destination.

- Rates are valid for this Program only and applicable for a minimum guarantee of the lower limit of the slab to be completed in this accounting year.
- 100% of the total amount to be paid in advance at the time of confirmation. For each batch, atlest 2 weeks prior to date of departure of the said batch.
- Payment to be made by Cheque/DD in favor of GREAT INDIAN OUTDOORS (P) Ltd. payable at Delhi.
- Advance will not be refunded or adjusted against any future programs under any circumstances
- Costs are subject to change based on revision of Transport Cost as it is an outsourced service

- >21 days: Full refund (after deducting any expenses that have been incurred for transport, etc.)
- 14-20 days: 75% of trip cost will be refunded (after deducting any expenses that have been incurred for transport, etc.)
- 7-13 days: 50% of trip cost will be refunded (after deducting any expenses that have been incurred for transport, etc.)
- <7 days: No refund
