This exciting overland trip has it all. On this voyage we traverse through some of the most bizarre and surrealistic landscape, travelling at an average altitude of more than 3,500 M. Visit regions which till recently were cut off for tourists, and are steeped in rich culture and history. Also it offers a great opportunity to interact with the beautiful people of this land.

We start off this road trip from Delhi and drive to Manali and from there to Leh, capital of Ladakh and to the Nubra valley in Ladakh. This road journey involves traversing through the Greater Himalayas and crossing a number of high passes beginning with the Rohtang pass (3,978 M). Also one would be passing through Keylong capital of Lahul, Jispa and Sarchu. Keylong is a mélange of green fields, willow planted watercourses, brown hills and snowy peaks. Here we will visit Khardong and Sha-Shur monasteries. We will also visit a few monasteries en route Jispa. From Jispa we depart for Sarchu via the Baralacha Pass (4883 M) over the Zingzingbar plains. From here one can view the Mulkila and Barashigra peaks. In the next stage we will be crossing the Lachlung La (5182 M) and Taglung La (5303 M) passes to reach Leh.

The last leg of this road trip would involve exploring the Indus and the Nubra valley in Ladakh. Nubra is an incredible valley which till recently was completely cut off for travellers. It is a Buddhist region north of Leh across the 18,380 ft. (5600 M) Khardung La Pass, the second highest motorable road in the world. This valley also known as the valley of flowers was on the former trade route between Tibet and Turkistan. We finish this exciting voyage with a rafting trip down the Indus. View of the valley from the river adds a totally different perspective to this truly enchanting place.

Day 0: DELHI - MANALI (560 km)

At 1800 hrs depart from Delhi for Manali,( 12-14 hrs).

DAY 01: MANALI (1900 M)

Arrival in Manali by 0900 hrs. Check into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for relaxing & sightseeing. Overnight in the hotel.

DAY 02: MANALI - JISPA (3348 M, 147 km)

Morning after breakfast drive to Jispa (3142 M) via Rohtang pass (3980 M). Jispa is a small hamlet by the river Bhaga. Overnight in a hotel/campsite

DAY 03: JISPA - SARCHU (4253 M, 95 km)

Today we drive to Sarchu via the Baralacha La (4892 M). It's a double pass linking both the upper Chandra and Bhaga valleys with the Lingti valley and the vast Lingti plains around Sarchu. Sarchu is inhabited by Himalayan Clan Gaddi and few lonely soldiers at an army outpost. Overnight stay in tents.

DAY 04: SARCHU - LEH (3500 M, 233 km)

Like the previous days we will be encountering breath-taking scenery on our way to Leh. En route we will be crossing two high - passes, Lachlung La (5065 M) and Tanglang La (5360 M) - the third highest pass in the world. Late in the evening we enter the Indus valley and arrive at Leh, capital of Ladakh. Arrive and check into hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05: LEH

Today we start exploring the Indus valley. We will first drive to Shey, Thiksey and Hemis gompa (monastery) accompanied by a local guide loaded with information on the history and practices of these gompas . Lunch at the hotel. Rest of the day for exploring the local market and shopping. Overnight in a hotel.

DAY 06: LEH - NUBRA (2900 M ,130 km)

After breakfast drive from Leh to the Nubra valley over the Khardong la Pass 5602 M. Enjoy a hot cup of tea near the 'highest temple in the world'. Drive to Sumur via Kardung village and Khalsar. Overnight in a luxury Camp in Sumur.

DAY 07: NUBRA

Full day sightseeing of Diskit and Hunder. Over night in a luxury Camp in Sumur.

DAY 08: NUBRA - LEH

Early morning after breakfast drive to Panamik. From Panamik drive back to Leh. Today we will stay in a luxury camp amidst a jungle at Gymtsa.

DAY 09: LEH

After breakfast get set to take a memorable trip on the river Indus. We will raft from Phey to Nimmo. This stretch though not very challenging, offers excellent views of the Indus valley. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 10: Leh – Pangongtso – Leh

Visit the shimmering blue waters of the magnificent pangong lake and return to Leh. Overnight at guest house / Hotel.

DAY 11: LEH - DELHI

Early morning take the flight out of Leh for Delhi.
