The Ganges remains the mecca of river rafting in India and is the river on which it all started. A river that has something for everybody and seldom leaves anyone dissatisfied, rafting on the Ganges is a great way of experiencing white water rafting. A 'pool andd drop' river, it allows you to recoup your energy and resolve as you move from one rapid to another.
Depending on which section one is on, Ganga offer Class II - IV action with some of the well known names of the rafting world associated with it like The Wall, Daniels Dip, Golf Course and Roller Coaster. Its green waters have large stretches where one can just body surf along the raft to truly enjoy being one with nature as you bob up and down with the undulating current plumbing the depths of life, that are surely greater than that of the river.
