Come winters and all our travel plans, vacation ideas also tank with the dipping temperature. After all, vacations are about sunny beaches in a breezy weather or road trips to the hills in the peak of June. And arriveth December, cozying up indoors with warmers, blankets and coffee seems like an ideal hibernation plan.

Believe us, if mountains look beautiful in summers then add another superlative to beautiful and you have them in winters – perfectly snow-clad mountains, sheets of snow for as far as you can see. If you wonder that a trip up to the hills in snow is only to end one way – being locked in your hotel room and watching the thick white sheet of snow gather outside – you are far from the reality.
