You will start from Haridwar/Rishikesh early in the morning and arrive in the lodge around early evening. This drive will take 8-9 hours. In the evening, there will be a program orientation and introduction with the team and the equipment, followed by dinner.
Your typical day would start with breakfast at 8 a.m after which a short drive (6 kms) will get you to the ski chairlifts. We will start with instructions by 9:30 a.m. Participants will ski till around 1: 30 p.m after which they will return to the lodge. Rest of the day will be at leisure. In the evenings there will be video sessions on skiing techniques. Also sitting around the fire and creating music in the evening or listening to it would be the order of the day. There are various indoor games and a mini library at the lodge for you to enjoy. Around the lodge there are nice walks and good birding opportunities for one to indulge in. Hot tea/coffee/soups along with variety of eating options will keep your taste buds satiated.

Skiing season in Auli starts from end of December/early January and it stays till March. Though snowfall like other weather phenomenon’s has become quite unpredictable but generally mid Jan to mid march is a safe time to plan skiing in Auli
Auli gets quite cold during winter with heavy snow falls. The maximum temperature during the day time ranges from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius in peak winters. Day time is generally very enjoyable with the sun shining and perfect for skiing. If it gets cloudy orwindy then temperature can shoot down drastically. Evenings are cold but with warm clothes on it is quite comfortable to be in the out also. Night is when it gets quite cold with minimum temperature that goes beyond sub-zero levels( -2 to -10 degree Celsius ). Inside the room with good quality bedding & heaters on it is quite ok. Good quality warm apparels are a must while visiting Auli during winters

This course is designed ideally for people who have completed a basic course and are adept with the basic principles of the sport. The course is led by our senior instructors and by the end of it you should be in a position to tackle most slopes and with continuous practise you are on your way to becoming an expert skier.
